As in the noblest medicinal tradition, the heart of Bitter holds a massive dose of alkaloids, anthraquinones, and bittering glucosides extracted from gentian roots, rhubarb, and mugwort. This telluric force is balanced by citrus notes of bitter orange and citrus zest, illuminating the palate.
